And calling in an earthly form.
The woodwitch holds me in her arms.

A new breath she steps into the light.
Eyes so calm and burning bright.
My life from now has come and gone.
Enchantment floods my marrow bone.

A kiss she plants as my skin fades.
Bark covering, increasing haste.
Splinters barrow into my veins.
Feet rooted as if by chains.

The woodwitch danced toward the moon.
Promises of returning soon.
But I would wait a hundred years.
Before I saw her returning here.

She rests herself against my feet.
