about

This is a remastered version of the track that featured on the A Year in the Country compilation 'Fractures'.
The track itself is another one envisaged for the 'Disciples of the Scorpion' album, the version featuring on that album has vocals and sounds vry sonically different to this one) .
The 'Disciples of the Scorpion' album attempts to bridge acid folk and the analogue synthery of the 1970s Radiophonic Workshop. This particular was recorded during the early stages of recording the 'Follows Shortly' album (released under the moniker (Making Tea for Robots) , which was a collection of analogue synth tunes in the style of 1970s 'Programmes for Schools' theme tunes.
I can remember having the intention to write a song with varied movements similar to The Changes Suite that has featured on a BBC Radiophonic Workshop compilation album. Hopefully some of the Paddy Kingsland influence comes through.
