This was the first song written after I split my first band and I wrote and recorded it on the assumption, that although I had lyics for it I would wait to see if I could find a proper singer to sing it. Hence it was originally recorded as an instrumental, an labyrinthine instrumental . Eventually I got bored of waiting and sang a subsequent version myself on the mini album 'Folk Devils and Moral Panics', and then a definitive version was sung (beautifully) by Kim Guy on 'Midsummers'. So, when I went back to the original version of the instrumental some 14 odd years later, I was pleasantly surprised to hear how the track stood up, and with more processing power now available to me, I was also finally able to get all of the individual tracks running together to mix it properly.
