about

The official soundtrack to the the folk-horror film: ‘Disciples of the Scorpion’, a 1975 low budget film made by British Ligoncus Films. A film Ligoncus hated so much it was never granted a cinema release. Only one showing of it is recorded - on ‘The Book of the Lost’ anthology horror TV series in the late 1970s (only a few minutes of the film was shown due to power cuts affecting the television transmitters). The only print of the film was accidently destroyed by archivists in the early 1980s. All that remains now is snippets of off-air video and audio recordings, some production stills, a threadbare shooting script and, of course, decaying magnetic reels containing the soundtrack.
